A reminder that the senior dinner is at Pearl Street Grill on Wednesday, May 23 at 6:00 p.m. Dinners of the seniors are already paid for through dues. Family and friends are $24 a person. Payments should be brought in to me (Mrs. Banas) immediately (they are now past due) and checks should be made payable to City Honors School.
A final headcount needs to be turned in to Pearl Street soon. If a senior is NOT planning on attending, please let me know ASAP. My email is ebanas@buffaloschools.org
Also, graduation announcements are being printed and will be available free of charge (five per senior) at the senior dinner.
Senior internships start Monday. Most seniors are participating. Those that are not are expected to attend all classes. Absences will be recorded and reported to colleges/universities on final transcripts. It is not unheard of for colleges to withdraw acceptances in cases of extreme absences/failures. Internship assignments are on the round table in the IB room. See me or Mrs. Balzer if you have questions.
Finally, don't forget to bring in your college envelopes with postage to guidance by June 1.
